Introduction

The role of the father in the children's later mental health is very important. First, the father should be positive attitude toward his wife, work and society. In addition, it formed a social interest should emerge in the relationship with the children. The perfect father is the one who refers to his children as equals and was active along with his wife in their upbringing. The father must avoid two mistakes: emotional withdrawal and parental authoritarianism with, oddly enough, the same consequences. Children who feel alienated parents usually have more goals to achieve personal excellence than superiority based on social interest. In this situation father play an important role in grooming the child's mental health in later part (Achenbach, 1995, pp. 24).

Some researchers believe that, with the exception of lactation, the fathers are able to provide complete care for the child. Fathers can capture the child's signals as sensitive as mothers, and infants can become attached to their fathers as much as their mothers. Fathers who devote a lot of time caring for their baby, established a strong relationship with him affection, and children is of great benefit(Achenbach, 1995, pp. 24).

The positive role of fathers in early childhood by various authors associated with the fact that:

Fathers play an important role in shaping their children in situations where it is not clear what to do in the moment;

Fathers who are sensitive to the child's signals and soon become important figures in the children's world, but rather behave as effective mediators of socialization;

Major role of father in child's later mental health

The young child whose father is very involved, as indicated by the measured level interaction, for example through play and care giving is more developed on the cognitively at the age of six months and get a higher score at scales development.
