Theories of Crime Causation

Introduction

This paper focuses on the topic relating to the crime causation, in which we have discussed the theories regarding the topic with the similarities and differentiation. The crime causation is a set of negative socio-economic, demographic, ideological, social, psychological, political organizational and management phenomena that directly generate, produce, reproduces and determines crime as a consequence. These phenomena and processes, which themselves do not generate crime, but, accompanying reasons, and influencing them, provide them with action, leading to a specific investigation (set of acts that violate the criminal law).

Researches for the causes of crime reveals that the nature of the social negative phenomenon, explains its origins, shows what determines the existence of the crime, which contributes to its preservation, and recovery, and that it opposes. Only through such knowledge one can provide an effective fight against crime: to anticipate the changes occurring in it, to define and implement the necessary measures to prevent criminal manifestations in order to reduce them.
