Abstract

The terrorism situation in Iraq is not that of an old one. It is an ultimate result of the Iraq War which was an armed conflict resulted in the year 2003. The clashes were going on between the Iraqi military and UK/ US air forces long before the war took place since December 1998. These clashes and fights within the war led to a longer phase of an insurgency emergence which resulted by an opposing force and the newly formed government in Iraq. The declaration was made that those weapons posed a great danger to their national security and that of their regional alliances as well as coalition with the neighboring countries. The purpose of the war was supposedly to stop the Iraqi military rule and to provide people with democracy and other public benefits along with a new Iraqi government that they should function well with. After the formation of the new government, violence against coalition forces as well as for some other functional groups soon resulted into Iraqi insurgency and the emergence of a new faction of al-Qaeda took place within Iraq which is to be discussed within this paper in an effective manner.
