Introduction

Type 2 is the most common type of diabetes; this type problem is having insulin resistance, this type can appear at any age usually because of lifestyle such as eating junk food, being inactive, and diseases such as obesity. Type 2 is very common these days especially in children but it can be treated by changing lifestyle and being aware before it affects. Obesity contributes increase type 2 diabetes among children these days according to statistics. This phenomena causes monstrous damages in the health of people especially children due to they are more likely to become overweight and obese. Type 2 diabetes can be prevented before it affects person so preventing from the beginning is better. Parents should pay attention on their children and their health by inspection, periodical visiting doctor and following preventive lifestyle, which includes eating health food and being active by exercising.

The authors of the research are allied to Cruces University Hospital, Spain. They discussed increased incidence of carbohydrate metabolism disorders including diabetes in childhood obesity. Aguayo and other researchers, in this regard, conducted Prospective observational study for determining the occurrence of type 2 diabetes in obese children and adolescents living in Spain. Aguayo et al (2013) collected data about an oral glucose tolerance test and insulin resistance of 136 obese Caucasian adolescents and children. The results showed no diabetes type II in subjects of study.

On the other hand, 9.6% of the participants exhibited impaired glucose tolerance allied to acanthosis nigricans and obesity. In this study, the metabolic results for glucose tolerance concerning pubertal development and sex are important factor to consider the development of diabetes in children. Aguayo et al conclude that severe obesity demonstrates the relation with prevalence of insulin resistance and glucose tolerance test.

This study is conducted in pediatric department in Egyptian university. Ali et al (2013) aimed to approximate the incidence of diabetes mellitus type II in diabetic young people living in Egypt. For this purpose, investigators attained the data about the laboratory investigations, physical examination and medical, as well as family history of 210 individuals. The results exhibited the positive history of diabetes in twenty adolescents diagnosed with diabetes type II.

This study focused an important factor of family history about the occurrence of diabetes type II. It also indicated obesity with high waist circumference and higher BMI in diabetic patients. They found high readings of cholesterol levels, serum C-peptide, and hemoglobin A1c %.
