Cancer in Males & Females Globally

Introduction

The core objective o this research is to study the trend of cancer around the world. The study will further investigate the objective of the study on the basis of gender. Also the cancer trend on the basis of countries will be discussed in the paper.

Research Question

The topic of the research is to identify the trend of one of the drastic disease that can cause a death to the life of a Human. This study will primarily discuss the trend of cancer among the males and females along with and without the discrimination on the basis of countries. Research question can be stated as, “What is the trend of cancer around the globe along with difference of Gender and Country?”

Data Collection

To complete the objective of this research, the data for the research is collected from the online source named as GLOBOCAN. The database of this website provided the useful data for the study. The research question is analyzed on the basis of data that shows the occurrence of different type of cancer along with the discrimination of countries. The classification of countries is done in such a way that we obtained two classes titled as, “Less Developed Countries” and “More Developed Countries”. The data is further classified n the basis of gender, i.e. data for the males and females is studied independently.

Data Analysis

The statistical techniques will be used to identify and study the occurrence of cancer around the globe. This will be done on the basis of measure of central tendency and representation of data in a way that the graphs clearly identify the trend of occurrence of cancer among the males, females. Similar techniques will be used to identify the trend of cancer among the overall population of data without the ender discrimination.

Cancer Among Male

The data of males presented the average rate of 12.80 among the males of developed countries, whereas the data of the less developed countries presented an average of about 6.59. This difference among the averages shows that the males of developed countries have approximately double chances of having caner when compared to the males of less developed countries.
