Introduction

Learning and development are the concepts that are always attached with the human being. An appropriate lesson plan and education system or method is necessary for the students of each grade or level. This holds true especially for the class in which the students belong to pre-school children. There are various theories and concepts have been put forward by many theorists and philosophers. One such procedure or program is of family-centered education program.

Family Centered Education System for Cognitive and Social Development

Family centered education system is an education program through which an attempt is made by both the teachers as well as parents to teach the children. In this type of learning each entity plays an indispensable role. Parents, teachers and children all contribute their part. Under this approach of family centered education the process of learning takes place in the context of involvement of family. Support and guidance is provided to the parents to fulfill the role of teacher, nutrients and caregivers. To teach different lesson parents are also invited to take part in the creative activities (Ovando, 2003).

Strategies for teaching following behaviors to children

Teachers play a crucial role in providing meaningful knowledge and education to the students. Besides teachers, there are other instructional factors such as methodologies and processes, strategies and techniques through which information is imparted in students as well as their growth and development that takes place through these factors.

In order to inculcate education and to make the pre-school aged children to be used to of school and schooling system it is imperative that there should be a strong connection between the student and the institute and the family of the children.

Before taking the first step of this process, it is significant that a teacher or instructor should inform students and parents that they are going to begin this process. This would allow parents to mentally prepare for this process. This would alarm parents where they should interact and help out their children and where they should rely on teachers. This would also catch the attention of the students and distracting the student's mind from their parents (Lent, Brown and Hackett, 1999).

Create the atmosphere

The students learn in a better way in a positive atmosphere of the classroom. the atmosphere of the learning setting become immensely important when it comes to the atmosphere of pre-school children. Every student must feel safe and important in the class in order for maximum learning to take place (Carolyn, 1997). A positive classroom environment does not just happen; the teacher creates it.
