Introduction

There are a lot of professions in this world that the human beings practice and the field of medicine is one of them. It is related to the delivery of health care services to the living beings. It is the diagnosis, treatment and the prevention of diseases, injury, illness and other mental and physical problems and impairments in the human beings. Delivery of health care is a profession that demands extreme caution and care. The practitioner who is delivering the health care needs to be highly qualified so that he can deliver the optimum health care to the patients. All the works regarding medicine including primary and secondary care and public health fall under this category. The provision of health care differs from one country to another based on the relevant policies in the countries. It also varies across different individuals and groups that are significantly influenced by the social and economic conditions that prevail in their respective regions. The health care policies also play a major role in the way in which the health care is delivered in the countries and its standard (Zelman et.al, 2010).

Different countries have enforced different policies and plans regarding the health care goals within their societies and populations. The different health care systems that are designed to provide the patients with health care facilities are aimed at fulfilling the requirements of the people. This also varies among countries, since in some countries it is distributed among the market participants, while in some countries it is controlled centrally by the governments or other bodies that are designed for the purpose. Finance is considered to be one of the significant requirements for delivering quality health care services to those who need it. Moreover, a work force of qualified practitioners and that are paid and the infrastructure to deliver the health care requires financial support for proper functioning of the health care system.

Discussion

As discussed above, there are some requirements of the system that is designed for the purpose of delivering health care facilities to the people in general and patients in particular. These include properly trained and qualified workforce comprising of practitioners, doctors, surgeons, nurses, technicians, etc. and the infrastructure. The employees who work in a health care system and organization need to manage a wide range of issues and diseases. To do this effectively, proper qualification and adequate infrastructure are required.

There are a number of factors that tend to influence the quality and the situation of the health care that is provided in a specific region. There are a number of factors that tend to have an impact on the health care situation and these factors are expected to continue influencing in the future. These factors include aging, obesity and the future itself. The impact of each of these is discussed below.
