History

1950s

The Rock goes to the rock 'n' roll back to when the turn of the combination of country music and rhythm and blues was born. Bill Haley record Rock Around the Clock of 12 April 1954 helped the Rock 'n' Roll make an international breakthrough. Rock Around the Clock and many other rock 'n' roll songs of the 1950s helped the rock n roll music to grow and become popular. The African-American rhythm and blues are very similar stylistically. The best-known representatives of rock 'n' roll in the 1950s were Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, James Brown, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and Buddy Holly.

Here, the first detail should be genre -splitting, which later became characteristic, should be for the rock scene: On the one hand, the Beatles were having their beat music that occurred in suits with tie and was rather melodic, harmony dominated tended songs, and on the other hand, were the Rolling Stones, which stood out due to rather harsh sound. The magazine Rolling Stone called the track, I Cannot Get No Satisfaction, by the Rolling Stones as the actual birth of rock (Kallen, 2003).

By the appearance of bands such as Cream, The Who or The Jimi Hendrix Experience mid-1960s, a period of more sophisticated themes in rock music began to hold feeder. Cream established in this period including extended improvisation within rock music and influenced since this term, including bands such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck ...
