ABSTRACT

This study investigates the topic and tries to find the answer to the question that “is employer a key contributor in the construction project delay in construction industry in United Arab Emirates?”. The Confederation has seen a bundle of boom in the recent years particularly in the construction industry. The government has tried to move away from the income of the oil wells and therefore developed the tourism side. For that large mega projects were undertaken. The research builds upon the previous researches done by various scholars in this field. All the researches have been mentioned in the literature review chapter of the study. Using the literature review a questionnaire was then developed and distributed among hundred respondents at random were chosen from the population. The detailed methodology of the questionnaire design along with the analysis of the results have been discussed in chapter three of the study. The next chapter tries to correlate what the questionnaire results have indicated and what has been found from the literature review. A detailed analysis is done to see the extent to which the literature review supports the findings of the questionnaire. The last chapter consists of the conclusion of the whole study followed by the recommendations.
