There is a wide difference between the constitution of India and constitution of USA. Both the USA as well as India has written constitution, which are based on both, the functioning of the federal governments as well as the federal political structure. In regards, to the division of power and labor, both the USA and India have 3 basic divisions. These are known as judiciary, legislature and executive.
