Mechanistic and organic model

A mechanical process begins with the simple and easy contact between subject and object, through the perceptual apparatus. The process is mechanical because it is composed of elements that have a specific function, without which it is possible that this process occurs properly. It's like a car, which works because of its mechanical components.

The organic model influences the co-evolution between the dimensions of business systems in the organization and dynamic strategic process. Then, it makes the combination of deliberate and emergent strategies. (Brooks, 1990)
