Childhood Struggle with Gender

Crack! “How many times do I have to tell you that you should not play with them?” her mother yelled over her. “Mom! I was just playing cricket with them”, Jazz said with tearful eyes. “Why you do not play with the girls of your age rather than hanging around with big boys? They can harm you as you are not a kid anymore” her mother asked her out of anxiety. Jazz could not answer her that she is not comfortable with girls and actually hates them while being a girl herself. She loves to hang out with boys and wants to be one like them. It was her gender that was obstacle between her and the plays boys played near her house and school.

Family and Its History or Identity

They were tired, astonished and also surprised to be here. It was the place where they always wanted to be. It was hard for them to believe that they had finally reached the place where their ancestors could not make to reach. They had to sacrifice their home, their money and their fields in order to make future of their children. It was not a piece of cake for a family which is rooted to a place for centuries but my family, my ancestors did it for me and for other people of my family. They migrated from remote area of U.S to this metropolitan city. From a place where they were thought and recognized as honorable family and here they were unknown but they did it for us for our future.

Educational Experiences That Epitomize the Best

I was standing in front of a huge crowd. They were praising me and applauding me for my efforts. On the right side my teachers were also clapping for me along with my parents at the left side of the podium. I was filled with pleasure, proud and a sense of victory and feeling like I have conquered the world on my own. It was the day when my results were announced and this appreciation I was getting was due to my efforts I did to secure best grades in my institution and my efforts came very well that I scored highest marks among all students. I have fulfilled my parent's dreams and teacher's expectations.
