Introduction

History have wide display of wars both fought by arch rivals and some places fighting civil wars of their own. It is an uncommon scenario when the whole world is going through a tough time as super powers united with its allies fight to each other; a situation arises during the world war one of the nation is going through its own civil war. A very famous Western Europe historical event was taking place which known as Spanish Civil War.

The event of historical civil war can be considered, as a rare event; a situation which is opposing the political ideology of rest of the western world including the neighbouring European countries in the thirties of the twentieth century. However, the borders of Spain had attracted the intervention of foreign countries that used the conflict to make the country in a military testing ground.

The Spain had to come up with such a scenario as domestically, the social tensions were arising from the country's economic backwardness and unequal allocation of capital. This shaped an environment of frustration amongst the people and their rulers who, besides having proved not capable to advance. The transformation of the state and elevation in the living standards of its population had not been able to attain the steadiness essential for smooth progress in the evolution of political life. Therefore, the deep political divisions added to social unrest and created an explosive situation that led to the outbreak of a terrible civil war that divided and devastated Spain. This was the whole scenario creation due to which the country had to face dictator leadership as military turned into a rebellious mood.

Before war

One may not be wrong if he say that the majority of countries did not have a democratic rule before the World War II, but were able to have democratic leadership at the end of the world war. However, in Spain's example it was the other way round. They did had a democratic style of leadership before the World War II, but the Spanish civil war that took place after the rebellious actions of the military people brought dictatorship to rage in Spain. The country got a new leader who ruled over Spain till he died in 1975; it was Don Francisco Franco.

Country had a versatile form of environment where Spanish people were culturally strong and used to follow their norms and traditions. This is the main reason that makes Spanish culture vary famous amongst the whole world and people at a different part of the world follow the Spanish culture. However, the overall financial situation was not in favour of the countries sizeable population (Mazlin, 2011).
