The essay will consider each of the three with respect to the usefulness that each educational technology presents in the classroom as well as the ease of use, cost, reliability, availability and teaching or learning outcomes. The technologies will be given individual consideration and placed in the context of the real world challenges of education in the classroom setting. The use of Audio Visual Aids (such as projectors, Document cameras and Classroom amplification systems) allow the teacher to make the teaching session more involving and intriguing for students. In addition, Audio Visual Aids are highly useful in the classroom since they enable the teacher to cater to a variety of students' learning styles simultaneously (The Department for Education, 2012). The user friendly nature of Audio Visual Aids makes them easy to use and most Audio Visual Aids come with a one-time cost that has minimal peripheral requirements.

The teaching and learning outcomes of Audio Visual Aids are generally favorable since such aids make use of the modern day concept of infotainment; thereby delivering the required lesson to the students while simultaneously ensuring that the communication process keeps the students hooked and their attention riveted (U.S. Department of Education, 2013). Traditional use of Audio Visual Aids was limited to projectors that did little more than project slide-shows. However, modern day projectors are not only interactive but more user friendly which increases the degree to which the teacher is able to utilize resources.
