ABSTRACT

This research explores the concept of architecture in the perspective of tourism. The research furthermore, explores the concept of Bilbao effect and gives a brief introduction about The Bilbao Museum. It also describes the impact of Bilbao museum on the Basque city and the extent to which the museum has contributed in attracting tourists into the city. Furthermore, the research has taken the qualitative approach for the study, through which the researcher has collected the data and the impact of architecture on tourism and the image of architecture in attracting visitors analysed. Lastly the researcher has clearly stated the objective, aims and research questions and linked them with the findings and analysis of the research.
