A reflective account is about what happened and if the situation was to happen again how you would deal with it differently. Jasper, M (2003) said Gibbs model can be used through writing effectively and thinking. The writer has used Gibbs reflective cycle as a guide which is shown in appendix 1. The writers task was to work in pairs to present a 15 minute presentation on children at greater risk of abuse due to parents with mental illness or substance misuse in front of the rest of the group. I worked with one of my colleagues we decided who was doing what and shared work out evenly so we both had something to research.
