Abstract

The debate over the advantages and disadvantages of technology has now been going on from quite some time now. This study aims to highlight some of the aspects of the technology and would focus on drawing a meaningful conclusion out of it.The effects of advance technology on communication have been drastic. It has enabled human being to develop most sophisticated channels of communication that has, in turn, lead to hyper connectivity, cost and time savings, and bridged the gap. On the downside, it has a detrimental effect on our communication skills, for example, development of Slang language. This text aims to highlight some of the aspects of technology and would focus on drawing a meaningful conclusion out of it.

The Effects of Advanced Technology on Communication

Introduction

Advancements in technology have transformed the way we communicate in both our professional and personal lives. The great challenge of communications at the entrance of the Twenty-first century will not be to ensure citizens' access to truthful information and communication in its various expressions, which is directly related to the price of using the services. The communication technologies cannot assume that the public has provided resources to meet the services that are generated. We advocate on these pages, the effects of advanced technology on communication patterns, because for each technology option there are two versions: a basic package price controlled to ensure the right of access to information and enjoys the esteem of public service by all citizens and a second version that meets specific needs of groups of citizens, whose philosophy can clearly enter the free market concept. On many occasions and circumstances, a new technology hits an insurmountable barrier because the public does not understand or detect their need and the proposed fixed-term introduction only correct thought in the minds of manufacturers and designers (Press, p. 83).

When we speak of the professional is a report or a journalist, training becomes a social democratic practice. The report gives a direct service to citizens and therein lies its greatness and the reason for the freedom and responsibility of this profession. It is a priority issue for the good management company that can do the professional opportunities that new technologies offer.

Radical changes in technologies have already been given mankind the invention of the steam engine to replace animal power and before the invention of the compass, the caravel, and other examples which radically changed the approach of its time. Major advances and epics of mankind are found in the creative use of new tools of technology that also enhance the ways of modern-day communication (Nenadal, p. 202).
