Introduction

In the midst of 1920 till 1930 an extraordinary outbreak of artistic movement amongst African-Americans took place in every disciplines of art. This artistic division became acknowledged as "The New Negro Movement" and shortly as the Harlem Revitalization. It engrossed a flourishing and elegant black middle group since which pounced an astonishing creative hub. It covered all art-forms, together with melody, dance, motion picture, theatre and live entertainment. The Harlem revitalization dignified the exclusive customs of African-Americans and redefined African-American phrase.
