Airline maintenance programs are to be followed by every airline operator under the continuous inspection approved by the Federal Aviation authority in United States. Many airlines are being run all over the world which includes American airlines, Turkish airlines, Singapore Airlines, Emirates airlines, etc. Each Airline follows different ways of maintenance, American airlines outsources more maintenance. There are different features of maintenance being governed under the American airline maintenance program in order to providing the best facilitation and maximum accommodation to the passengers. Airline maintenance is a periodic inspection of every aircraft whether it belongs to military or civil airline firms. Both military and civil airline operator s, follow a continuous action program which runs under the approval of Federal Aviation Authority in the United States. These inspection programs may include both routine and detailed inspection services. Airlines usually refer to the detailed check for the entire airline maintenance under the different checking categories from A to D. Check A refers to the maintenance services that are to be conducted after 500 hour durations. This check is conducted on the basis of reports from the last hours check. Check B refers to the checking of airlines after 4 months in order to make maintenance of the airlines. It takes three days in general in order to maintain this checking method. B check is highly dependent on the A checks, as these checks are conducted on the basis of reports from check A. check C refers to the maintenance of airlines after every 15 months. Check C is highly expensive in comparison to check A and B as whole Airline maintenance or aircraft checking is conducted for this purpose. During this check, airlines aircraft are put out of service until it's checking is done. The time required to go through this check is mainly between 1 or 2 weeks. D check is referred to the most important and demanding check on the airline maintenance. This check is conducted usually after duration of almost five years in which entire airplane is brought under inspection. It requires a period of almost 2 months for the completion of maintenance of the aircraft. Being the most significant and demanding check, the cost for this check is also very high.
