Freddy Gale, the father of the child, has waited the departure of John from prison to kill him. Never overcame the tragedy, and his marriage collapsed. Now has only one possible consolation: revenge. It is the Production of the brothers Harvey and Bob Weinstein through Miramax. They pushed for a history of Sean Penn attractive, well in exploring the transformation of two men by a tragic event, the need of forgiveness and overcoming misunderstandings. It's great climax of the film. Jack Nicholson and David Morse offer a wonderful concert and measured interpretation. Bruce Springsteen's song that gives title to the film is beautiful. The main objections of the film come from its eroticism, unnecessary, to describe the degradation of a Freddy who frequents strip clubs (Yirmiya, 1993).

Discussion

What has happened to Freddy is a very sad story in which it is hard to decide what is right and what is wrong. Before moving on to this topic we must first clarify that death is in the hands of God and every person has to die at some point in time. If we take the daughter of Freddy as just a simple human being then her death is a normal thing. But if we look from the perspective of Freddy, the situation is very different. Freddy was her father and her daughter was killed in a car accident which was being driven by a drunk driver, John Booth. Freddy's reaction is justified as he should be very angry over her daughter's incident but he should not be violating the rules of the state. After her death, he has started drinking alcohol and has also made up his mind to kill John Booth. People tend to use alcohol when they are too depress and wanted to just fly to another world of being drunk. Although I would say, Freddy did the wrong thing by starting drinking Alcohol.
