Introduction

As students, we given a task to show our skills of performing oTPR and BP measurement processes. The aim of the task was to determine the learning of the program. This paper will assess the performance of measuring and assessing the performance and will mention how the tasks were performed and what lacked.

It is imperative to check the blood pressure level of a normal human body to check the state of an individual. There are two different methods that could be used to check the blood pressure level of a human body. For arterial pressure measurement, we determine two values: the upper or first value is called the systolic arterial pressure. Evaluation

The processes were carried out pretty smartly, however there are few things that lacked such as introduction to the patient. Blood Pressure Measurement

Following procedure was followed to carry out the process of Blood Pressure measurement.

1. I performed the routine hand wash.

2. Then I consulted with patient to show his documents and assessed the need of checking the blood pressure.

3. I asked for his permission to carry out the measurement process.

4. I Identified patient against patient identification band and confirms chart correlates with the patients arm band.

5. I prepared patient and provides privacy as appropriate.

6. Positions arm at heart level with palm of hand up.

7. I attached the cuff tonometer to the naked hand, so that its lower edge is about 2-3 cm above the elbow. Wrap the cuff around the arm and secure it in position Velcro.

8. Then I inserted the tips of the stethoscope in his ears, and attach a metal head to the area of the radial artery, just above the elbow fossa on the inner surface of the shoulder.
