Abraham Maslow believed that accurate and viable theory of personality must be considered not only the depth of a person's behavior, but also the height, which can reach every individual. Abraham Maslow has done more to change our view of human nature and the possibility of the individual, than any other American psychologist in the last fifty years. Maslow was continuously increasing its impact, both direct and indirect, especially in health, education, management theory, as well as the personal lives of millions of Americans.

Maslow was the first to become interested exploring new theories and new areas of science. His works are, rather, a collection of thoughts, opinions and hypotheses than a fully developed theoretical system. Being more theoretical than a research scientist, Maslow rarely comes to a final solution. His gift was manifested in the formulation of problematic issues, which are now many social science researchers consider it extremely important.

Abraham Maslow was born in April 1908 and was the elder of six children. His parents were Russian immigrants, devotees of the Jewish religion. Initially studied law to please his parents, but eventually opted for the study of psychology and in 1934 obtained his doctorate in psychology through his study of primate behavior, work with Harry Harlow.

In the 50 years that clinical psychology was still a relatively new field that Maslow believed psychoanalysis the best system for the study of psychopathology, as well as the best of the forms of psychotherapy. However, he realized that the psychoanalytic system is inadequate for the role of General Psychology, acceptable to all human thought and behavior.

From his works show that he studied himself, and he was able, as we say, to be objective about him.
