The film Temple Grandin was filmed in 2008 and produced by HBO Movies. Its release caused anxiety and expectation in the community of people with autism U.S. and worldwide.

I must admit that seeing the film I had no idea who was Dr. Temple Grandin and the impact it has had on the way it is addressed the issue of autism. The film "Temple Grandin" is a tribute to the life of an autistic woman, a woman whose tenacity and work change the perception of autism and how to handle cattle, the film takes us on a whirlwind of emotions ranging from tears to laughter (Grandin, 1437).

Temple Grandin, is interpreted flawlessly by actress Claire Danes, who in his bland acting avoid the cliches of the genre, bringing emotion and feelings into the narrative of the story. But who is Temple Grandin and because his life story is so important? This woman was born in 1947 in Boston, USA, was diagnosed with autism at an early age. Today is a professor at Colorado State University and designer of slaughterhouses.PhD in Animal Science at the University of Illinois (Grandin, 1438). This staging portrays us the story of a disabled person, who in an unusual and strangely charming faces the world with his disabilities, which makes this story even more poignant.
