Strategies provide the structure for designs by channeling operating decisions and often pre-deciding them. If strategies are developed mindfully and appreciated correctly by managers, they provide more reliable structure for operational planning. If this consistency lives and directed, there would be deployment of organizational assets in those localities where they find better use.
