Dear Sir,

We are going to create an arts community in the college to discover the hidden talent of the students. Through a survey, we have identified by the feedbacks of the students that around 60% of the college students wants such kind of activities in the college. 20% of them are very good artist, 20% are average and needs a little effort to be better; however, the remaining 20% thinks that this activity would help them in reducing the impact of boredom they sometimes get in continuous studying the courses.

Successful education involves logical reasoning skills and abstract thinking, imagination and sensitivity, as well as creativity and cultural memory, but above all communication skills. Communication requires the ability to learn and to live in society as well as basic knowledge in the broadest sense, covering not only speaking, reading and writing, but also numerical, cultural and artistic.

Now, with the help of your student involvement manager, Laura Pratt, we have planned some activities to be conducted in the college premises in a different area. The area will be specified as the 'Arts Council'.

We have decided to have an exhibition at the end of the semester, in which we would invite people from different colleges and universities and experts of the field. For this purpose, we have to convince them on the idea that these kinds of activities and exhibitions are not the waste of time; rather, they are very helpful in developing the student's personality.

We are here to help them in marketing their skills and make the world aware of their talent.

Dissimilar to the high profile art scenes of the big cities, the market of art in our College would be different, as it is a college and not a big art theatre. Our artists have to build and create their audiences firstly on the local level. Initially, we have to market the talent to our own college lecturers and professors, and also the students who are not interested in taking part in these activities.

Therefore, ...
