The Baccalaureate is an educational program for two years taught in three languages ??(English, French and Spanish) aimed at students not college between 16 and 19. It was founded in Geneva (Switzerland) in 1968 by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

Baccalaureate Program considers a permanent space for orientation and information-experiential level meeting between peers and with different degrees of study offered. The health educators entering and Humanities Bachelor of Science initiated a process of vocational choice and vocational maturity that fosters professional, personal and learning that lead to self-knowledge and the discovery of the many variables that are affecting the responsible choice of a career professional.

Central idea

Eastern High Health institute in the Pre - HB Interface magnet program is open to eligible Alachua County, who lived in the ninth grade health educators. Acceptance is based on previous performance in health institute. In the scheme should be submitted by the health institute counselor for an application or applications of interest to health educators from Eastern High Health institute any request. Health institute class is selected for each of the five criteria from the eligible applicants:

Un-weighted cumulative grade point average for the sixth and seventh grades.

In the first semester of eighth grade subjects.

Recommendations from the current teachers.

Standardized achievement test scores.

Completed applications and papers.
