            Clinton was impeached as President of the United States on December 19, 1998 by the House of Representatives. The allegations were perjury and obstruction of justice. The Senate acquitted Clinton on both enumerations in a trail completing on February 12, 1999. The allegations originated from an enquiry by unaligned counsel Kenneth Starr.             The impeachment of Bill Clinton is one of the “weirdest episodes” in our political history.
