Early Life, Early Hardships

Ronald Reagan full name was Ronald Wilson Reagan. He was born in the village of Tampico, in Illinois State in the year 1911 to Nelly Wilson Reagan and Jack Reagan with one sibling only. Nine years he, along with his family, moved to Doxin. There he went to Dixon High school for further education. The next destination for Reagan was, Eureka College, from where he got his Bachelor degree in sociology and economics. The next stop for Ronald was in the state of Lowa, from where he began one of the many careers he perused in future.

Reagan as a Radio Announcer

Reagan officially started his job hunt for a radio announcer vacancy for the radio stations. He gave many auditions as well for similar vacancies. He eventually did get a job at a small time radio station. He was called by the University of Lowe for doing commentary on football matches played by the Hawkeyes and was paid very little that time. However this was the job was the turning point of Reagan's life. He was then called ides Moines by WHO radio in Des Moines as a commentator for Chicago Cubs baseball games.

Soon after job at Lowa, Reagan received another offer. As an announcer for Chicago Club Games of Baseball, Reagan moved to WHO radio in Des Moines, mainly because of his persuasive style.

Ronald although had a clear interest in making and working in movies, However he was a great critique of the television at threat time. His appearance as a host of a series of a weekly program in the General Electric Theater was a massive hit. In his contract, it was written that has to deliver as much as fourteen speeches every day. Death Valley Days was his final performance on Television in 1965. He appeared as a host in that show.

Ronald and Films

To cover a sport event, Reagan came to California in 1937. The next jump by Reagan was to the field of television form the radio broadcast. “Love Is on The Air” was his acting debut in which he played the character of a Radio announcer.
