Introduction

This paper is about the birds and their relationship with the society. This paper tells about the scientific review of the specifications and abilities of the birds. It will show the impact of the environmental factors on the birds. In this paper, I have discussed the relationship between the environmental changes, and how birds judge those changes and move to another place. Many people have examples of it that their pets warn them about the earthquakes. In this paper there is reference about the behavior of the pets and birds regarding the earthquake, and there is also the insight of some researches in which scientists have identified that birds have several special stimuli, which helps them in predicting such hazardous events. There are several examples of it also, that whenever a tornado or earthquake kind of thing about to happen, then birds start showing about such environmental hazards. They start to escape from that place, also give alarming signs to the other birds and human beings (Buskirk, 1980). In this study, I have studied about different aspects of this unusual behavior of the birds, which is not found in other animals, and they cannot predict such events.

The point of discussion is that, do birds just predict about the natural hazards or they have some extra sensory system?

Discussion

Birds have a strong association with the environment, as every other birds or human being have. Birds take these changes very early, and predict the danger. There are several examples of it also, that whenever a natural hazard is about to come, then birds start showing about such events. They not only escape form that place, but also give alarming signs to other animals and human beings, with some vocal signs or other physical activity(Buskirk, Evernden & Andriese, 1980).

The point of discussion is that, are these just their predictions or they have some extra sensory system? The researchers have done a lot of researches on this thing, and tried to find out the true picture of this strange and interesting fact. Birds have astonishing senses to predict different hazards. Their hearing quality also helps them to identify the upcoming hazards like, voice of seismic waves, and seismic shifts (Herford, 1898).

Different scientists have done their researches that these birds have some extra sensory skills, that they early find out the problem and after realizing the fact they start alarming on it. The behavior of birds before an earth quake is noticeable (Herford, 1898).

Birds and Earthquake

Observations of bird's uncommon behavior before the earthquakes are noticeable, and treated with high importance from the different researchers. There are several researches, and experiments have been conducted on this issue. The unusual behavior of the birds sometimes protects the life of them; also, it gives an alarm to the mankind living in that particular area.
