Introduction

Fashion design is considered to be a prominent industry within the domains of Australia. It basically highlights the art of applications of design and aesthetics into the form of clothing and accessories. The cultural and social latitudes do have a considerable influence on the fashion design industry. There are a number of ways in which the activities are performed by the fashion designers so as to provide customers with required clothing and accessories. Some work alone and other use to employ team structure in order to successfully accomplish the task of designing clothes. This book report is basically prepared with an objective to select an organization in which I will be pursuing my career in future, identifying the key features and the operations of the organization. Therefore, the industry I have selected is the Fashion Design industry and the selected organization for this book report is ICE design- a leading Australian women's fashion force.

The attempt of every fashion design business is to satisfy the demands of consumers for aesthetically designed clothing. Because of higher competition, the fashion organizations have to anticipate the changing consumer preferences and tastes.

ICE Design is basically an organization that gets inspiration from a number of established and famous fashion centres such as New York, London and Paris and operates with an aim to bring the “in thing” at a rapid pace in the hand of customers.

The stocks that are kept by the company includes hottest range of club wear, evening wear, urban dresses along with the heap of accessories that suit the demand of the customers.

The fashion designing apparel of the organizations has styles that are integrated with the elements of funk, comfort and thus providing a touch of sophistication.

ICE Design facilitates the customers in selecting the best design and the latest fashion that is in alignment with their personality. The workforce operating at the outlets of this organization assist the customers to express their individuality by bringing the changing trends along with a twist of ice fun, which will ultimately set the seasonal tone for the company's products.

As far as the relationship of the organization and company's management with the internal customers is concerned, ICE value its team and promote their growth by providing them development opportunities.
