Introduction

The Company was created by David Edgerton and James Mc Lamore, who launched his first restaurant called Burger King Urges the December 4, 1954 in Miami, Florida, USA. In 1989, it renamed as Burger King and became known internationally. The original corporate logo BK, also known as "Bun Halves" ("Bread Halves" in Spanish), established in 1969 and lasted until early 1990. It was a simple logo with the name "Burger King" in red letters between two halves of bread. In 1994, Burger King modernized its first logo using a smoother font with rounded edges. In 1999, the company returns to update the logo with stylized version. The new logo with a blue swirl logo gives Burger King looking round, making it look more contemporary (George, 2004, pp. 121).
