Micro and Macro Economics

Introduction

Economics is the science of wealth; it consists on the conflict of demands and supplies, ups and downs of good or purchases running in the market, therefore every country is based upon its economic development. Economics is mainly considered how individual prices are set, studied how the prices of land, labor, capital are set, and inquired into the strength and weakness of the market mechanism.

The two streams microeconomics and macroeconomics converged to form modern economics. The streams have merged as economists have applied the tools of microeconomics to such topic as unemployment and inflation.

Microeconomics

It is study of public, business choices. For example, consumer decide how much of various goods to purchase, workers decide what job to take & business people decide how many workers to hire and how much output to produce; because prices have important effects on that individual decisions. The microeconomics is also frequently called Price theory.

Macroeconomics

Macroeconomics is also a very vast study, it deals with the higher level or upper level issues such as unemployment, inflation, the over all country's performance or regional performance, etc. Federal Reserve banks also lies in the same filed of economics.

(b) Why the prices of the laptop computers have fallen?

One or another novel idea keeps on coming in hardware manufacturing. Due to the marketplace competition production cost comes down. Over the last couple of years laptop prices have fallen vastly. Now anyone can afford a good quality laptop which is cost effective. In addition, new technology comes very quickly, making high quality laptops outdated.

Laptops are becoming more advanced and powerful and also smaller. They are available in cheap prices also. The performance gap between a desktop computer and a laptop is narrowing day by day. The lowest priced laptops are now capable of handling most of the computer applications. They are coming with powerful speakers also.

Various kinds of laptops can be purchased, Ultra-Mobile PCs which are small in size and portable. Ultra portables are fitted with LCD screen of about 12 inches or less, weighing approximately 3 to 5 pounds. Thin-and-light Laptops generally weigh about 4 to 6 pounds having a screen size of 12 to 14 inches. Whereas, mainstream Laptops have a screen size of about 14.1 inches to 15.4 inches and weigh about 5 to 7 pounds.

Portability, Screen size, Price, Speed, Memory, Upgradeability, Hard drives, Batteries and Hardware are some of the parameters before buying laptops. Laptops come in the screen resolution of 1024 x 768 XGA or 1280 x 1024 SXGA. Laptops come in memory capacities of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB or 1GB of RAM.
