Entry One - Pre-course Attitudes and Opinions of Business Ethics

I believe business ethics is an academic field that studies moral and immoral action not only of individuals in business organizations but also of organizations as such. Business ethics is also concerned with the moral nature of the economic system in which individuals and their organizations act and think.

I personally believe that my ethics would help me to represent myself to other people.

I feel like I've learned so much but I still have room left to grow. I enjoyed this module and am grateful that I had tutors to help me grasp concepts of the issues in business ethics; I feel that through working with classmates during class exercises helped to me to gain insight into how ethics is practiced in many ways. I learned so many lessons personally and professionally through interacting with my classmates, so thank to all. Business ethics is a somewhat juvenile learned area, a usually acknowledged approximate is that business ethics has been with us since the early 1980s. This does not signify that there was no vigilance for the ethical edge of business and capitalism before 1980, but rather that it was not institutionalized into an identified learned field. I accept as factual when business ethics turn to organizational matters, they manage not address the financial context in which persons manage business but rather the organizational context. I address that business ethics is enthusiastic to talk about the implication of notions and even enthusiastic to renegotiate taken-for-granted assumptions about specific business practices.

 

Entry Two - Analysis of and Usefulness of Ethical Theories

After the investigation of the some business ideas, I acquiesce with Kant's leverage on that agency of ethical idea renowned as deontology is so powerful that some writers easily mention to deontology as Kantianism. Despite the detail that Kant's title is mostly invoked in business ethics, as of 1997 there was no released publication that systematically directed Kantian idea to business.
