The causes of Logistics Problems faced by Brad star

As a consultant what I found The Main causes of problems which are faces by brad star is their poor management firstly, second their transport management department, as mention in the case study delivery is sometime made on an urgent basis, which then sent, in small lots resulting in increasing cost of the product, this can easily be tackle by sending these products in a consolidated form. Secondly, their ware house management is also very weak. This can be solved if they have proper order management system or inventory management system, ; last but not the least their transport management issues, this also creates problems in terms of delayed shipments resulting a fear to lose customers (Borghesi, 2005 456). These are the three main issues of the Brad star Logistics Company which should be solved on an urgent basis; however, company is earning well because of their cheap prices as compare to other competitors but this is not a permanent solution, in the long run Brad star should have to take any positive measure to solve this issues.

How to solve these issues

The main purpose of this problem is to assemble customer demand for assured delivery of high quality and low cost with minimum lead-time, as Bradstar pte Ltd deals in electrical and electronics components manufacturing so in order to accomplish this objective, Brad Star Ltd need to have better command and presence into the whole supply chain process of their own strategy, as well as those of their customers, and suppliers (Camp, 1989 56).
