Luxury pet day care

Idea description

I would open an animal day care centre by the name of “Luxury pet day care.” It will be an animal care facility that would provide a number of services to customers, with dedication to maximizing the satisfaction level of customers through providing high-class service, and rendering a clean and enjoyable atmosphere. (William 2001, Pp. 100)

Luxury pet day care is a newly established day care centre, which will specialize in providing its customers the optimum level of pet care. The day care centre will provide a number of services to its customers. The services are:

Overnight Care: the client can leave the pet for 24-hour care without any worry.

Day Care: there is a lot of room for a playful, hygienic, and safe environment. Physical training will also be provided to animals to make them healthy.

In-home Animal Care: these services can also be provided at the home of the client if necessary.

Wash Your Own Pet: bathing is essential for the animals for hygiene, so this service will also be provided.

Pet Grooming: the pets will also be groomed if required by the customer.

Idea Generation

The idea was generated because of the increasing popularity of day care centre for animals. The reason for popularity of this idea is the growing number of caring pet owners, who are aware of the advantages of leaving their pets in such a centre for daytime working hours, rather than leaving them alone at home. Animals, like people, are social creatures, and to ensure, that they are well behaved and quiet; they need to be in contact with people and other animals. (Young 2007, Pp.10)

Idea Generation methods

There are a number of techniques that can be used to be generate ideas; however, I used the technique of brain storming for this cause. Brainstorming is one of the most widely used methods for generating ideas on an individual level.

Analysis of the Animal day care market

1. Socio-cultural analysis

From a socio cultural perspective, handling pets is a normal thing and is quickly becoming a widespread practice in the country. The business of handling pets for money is widely acceptable in the social culture of UK. (Abrams and Eugène 2003, Pp. 03)

2. Economic and trade analysis

There are several factors, which usually affect a company. These forces include positive as well as negative forces. The positive forces include opportunities lying in the economy for Luxury pet day care, the signs of economic development for UK, etc, from my analysis of the economy, we can see that the economy of UK is improving with each passing day and people are spending more and more money, which is a great opportunity for all the business people. The negative forces include rising wages, inflation in the economy, economic issues. (Young 2007, Pp.10)
