The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC is a British company based in London and since 2007 the share index FTSE 100 on the London Stock Exchange listed. It was founded in 1989 by Charles Dunstone in London and is set with over 2,400 stores chain store for the world's largest independent telecommunications. In the UK, The Carphone Warehouse holds a market share of over 20 percent.The Carphone Warehouse sells annually more than 14 million mobile phones. The group is represented by over 20,000 people in ten European countries and the United States. The Carphone Warehouse has a portfolio of thousands of stores across nine European countries, as well as an e-commerce site.
The Carphone Warehouse is the leader mobile retailer in Europe. CPWPLC comprises 50% of its interest in Best Buy Europe Group and 41% interest in Virgin Mobile in France. The company is involved in those businesses management by participation in operational and strategic meetings and through some representation(Gentzoglanis, 2010). At 29 March 2010 the company split into two publicly traded companies, retailers with mobile phones will continue to operate under its old name Carphone Warehouse Group PLC, the division will now operate under broadband Talk Talk Telecom Group PLC. The Carphone Warehouse spend over one year to create clear Corporate Responsibility strategy focusing on five main key areas which are: customers, communities, charities, employees and environment (Pederson,2009).

Carphone Warehouse is a long-standing supporter of Young Enterprise, an education charity that aims to inspire and equip young people to learn about and go into business. In 2011 the group donated millions of dollars to this organization and by utilizing its diverse and high-grade client list, has been able to provide a number of recruitment opportunities. In the field of corporate governance. Carphone Warehouse is scrupulous in meeting all regulatory standards and fulfilling its obligations to shareholders (CPWPLC, 2012).
The Carphone Warehouse spend over one year to create clear CR strategy focusing on five main key areas which are: customers, communities, charities, employees and environment. They assume that the project will allow them to make positive and long-term changes which can be easily measured and reported on by their stakeholders (Davies, 2008). To make sure that Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy Group have the same look on sharing practices they have been work together on producing the Best Buy Europe CR strategy. One charity partner for the CPWPLC is Get Connected. They have been in relations for many years and there are no plans to change this (Gentzoglanis, 2010).
