In the literature review section, a review of related studies has been presented. The third section includes methodology that has been selected to conduct this study. The fourth chapter has presented the findings of this dissertation. The findings of this study have been supported with discussion in order to explain results. Background of the Study

The domestic car industry of China is developing as national manufacturers use their experience of joint ventures with internationals to develop their own brands. The investment continues to flow into the market, particularly the small car market, where tax breaks have supported higher sales. The automotive industry is currently one of the strategic sectors of the Chinese economy. This country has more than 120 manufacturing plants expanded plants throughout its territory and more than 2,000 auto parts companies that supply it.8 With regards to employment, this sector is also one of the most important, more than 4,600,000 people are employed in the production of vehicles. At present, China is one of the largest producers of vehicles around the world. The country has the largest vehicle market growth globally. The Chinese automotive industry is endeavoring to build up a strategy of export and production of vehicles into other countries. The industry is also planning to develop its invention, particularly in developing countries with adequate infrastructure to manufacture vehicles for export to local markets. This symbolizes a precious chance for a country like the United States. The United States has an important domestic market, and infrastructure, technology and manpower required for vehicle production (Sit & Liu, 2000).

The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of Chinese automobile industry in the United States.
