Introduction

Personal growth and development is the important most neglected area that requires proper attention to understand the need for it. It is the basic factor that develops and defines the personality of an individual and assists him in leading his life in a better and controlled way. It is the dream of to have the high status, confident personality, and influence on others. Self awareness is the first step and a key towards the personal and development it is thus requires that a person must have complete knowledge about himself so that he can assess his strengths and weaknesses. It is the part and parcel of life and a secret to lead better life both personal and professional (Hughes & Youngson, 2009 p.25). There is not a single individual on this earth who is flawless, we all have flaws and weaknesses but the wise thing is to know your weakness and to overcome it. It is the most important concerns for the leaders especially because leaders are the role models and as a role model they are required to be perfect. People follow them worship them as their leaders and this become a problem for the leaders to fulfill the expectation of the people as there is no such thing exists in real life as perfection. It is also very important concern for the leaders to tackle with this situation and they sometime become confused and nervous and this also results in losing their self confidence. In some severe conditions these leaders are also involved in the fear of failure for not fulfilling the demands of people.

These leaders being a human being also possess some flaws and weaknesses but due to the over expectations of the people they begin to feel guilty and involved in anxiety and depression which in long run leads to various psychological disorders. This requires the proper assistance of the councilor and therapist to help them understand their problems and to help them regain their personality in a more effective way. In most of the cases these leaders cannot ask for any assistance for they cannot let people know about their weaknesses. In some cases these leaders are even unaware of their psychological and mental disturbances due to this problem. This leads towards the need for developing the proper model and coaching process that teaches clients how to learn to deal with their personality problem and holds them accountable for their own personal growth and development and subsequently aids the client's transformation.
