Introduction

The occupation of social work is committed to ensuring benefit and self-fulfillment of every human being on earth; the maturation and proper usage of professional and scientific knowledge; the growth of different skills and resources that would help in achieving personal, community, country & global altering aspirations and demands; & the accomplishment of justice for every soul on earth. Our organization, ABC social services, is bent to serving needy people and helping them in their live (Hepworth, Rooney, and Rooney, 2009).

The mission of our organization is to encourage, develop, and safeguard the practice of social work, and enhancing the effective and proper functioning and eudemonia of an individual, their family, and society through our work and commitment.

The concept of behaving in an ethical manner is underlying in the heart and soul of every occupation, which is present on earth. The National Association of Social Workers has developed a proper framework for code of conduct and ethics in the workplace, and set off principles and values that are leading the way for social workers. A properly developed and established code of conduct and ethics can never ensure that employees would behave in an ethical way. Ethical behavior is derived from the commitment of an individual to employ him in ethical and legal practice. The spirit and the guiding principles of new and original Code of Ethics would surely help our employees to develop practices that are in conformity with ethical values. The purpose of this memo is to discuss newly developed code of ethics for our company. Ferrell (Fraedrich and Ferrell 2009).

Central principles and values of social work

Our employees would maintain the following values in their work, to make sure that their work is in conformity with the highest ethical standards:



First value: Respect every person keeping in view, his underlying dignity, and giving worth to every person

Second value: Always strive for social justice

Third value: Always strive to serve humanityFourth value: Maintain reliability and veracity of professionalism in our work

Fifth value: Ensure discretion in our work

Sixth value: Make sure we always maintain the highest level of competence in our work

These were values, that have set, forth for our employees, following these vales would ensure that our employees always maintain high-quality work. In the following paragraphs, we will discuss each of our ethical value in detail and would discuss principles, which would help our employees in applying these social values in their lives (Australian Psychological Society 2007).
