Comment on poem by Robert frost “Dedication”

This is the reading text of a verse Robert Frost (1874-1963) created for consignment at the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) on 20 January 1961. The verse went undelivered, although, because the sun's glare upon the snow-covered ground blinded Frost from glimpsing his text. The bard put the manuscript apart and rather than recited his verse "The Gift Outright" from memory. "Dedication" seems under the name, "For John Kennedy His Inauguration," in The Poetry of Robert Frost, revised by Edward Connery Lethem and copyrighted 1969 by Holt, Rinehart and Winston.
