Introduction

The writer Thomas Paine was born in the land of Britain in the year 1737. Paine's received his primary education till he was of thirteen. Soon after, he started working along with his father. Initially, he opted for a low-salary oriented job in tax-collection and at the same time during unoccupied hours educating himself. In the year of 1772, He was sacked for writing an article asserting an increase in tax-collectors' income will result in reduced crime and corruption. He immigrated to US in1774. He, hereupon became was engaged himself in the US political life by editing and writing articles and columns in the Pennsylvania Magazine. After the first battle, He started to assert that US should strive for sovereign independence than hardly striving to unleash from prejudiced British taxation. He stated his concern in the pamphlet called Common Sense in the year 1776. Thereafter it immediately drew attention and became widely read. His pamphlet played a crucial part in drawing public perception and opinion. Common Sense was a necessary forerunner in the Independence declaration. Paine's Perception of Britain

He also analyzes and elaborates on the details of the current US situation. In response to the assertion that US has prospered beneath British rule, and so it has to stay under the Britain rule, He asserts that such an assertion fails to apprehend that US has progressed and does not need Britain's assistance. One school of thought says, Britain has safeguarded US, and so rightfully deserves allegiance, but he acknowledges that Britain has quietly watched over US for vested interest that is to secure its economy. He also says that rather than safeguarding over colonies, the Britisher's have been assaulting them. This made them least deserving of loyalty.
