Lost Angeles is the most entertaining capital of the world. Its growing industry and economy indicate that people are hard working and have high living standard. The geographical area is approximately 4,081 square miles and has 10.3 million populations. As a resource, this paper aims at facilitating the process of assessing health needs of Community. Information that is not intended, however, is not prescriptive. According to their needs and preferences, communities can make a partial use of this document or use other types of information. Any assessment of community health needs includes the collection and analysis of systematic information on health. The objective of this process is to encourage the participation public participation and communities, and to provide regional boards of health the information necessary for the identification of needs and existing resources to establish priorities related to the development of programs or services (Stanhope, 2010).

The overall objective is to create a list of priority needs in health that can inform policy makers on the allocation of resources. This process aims to encourage more community involvement in strengthening participation and collaboration of individuals, groups and organizations. It also provides the opportunity to foster meaningful community participation, transparent and oriented towards integration and collaboration of individuals.

Los Angeles has the diverse population with multiethnic people which makes it a cultural hub of the Pacific Rim. It is considered as tourist place and a fashionable place where more than 230,000 people are working in health care industry and 361,000 people in aerospace/technology. Population consists of 140 countries speaking 86 different languages. Among them, 47.3% are Hispanic, 29.2% White non Hispanic, 13.1% Asian Islander, 8.9% African-American and other 0.3% are American Indian (U.S. Census Bureau, 2010). The county is well maintained and street trees provide safe and healthy environment to the public.

An assessment of community health needs assessment is a continuous state of health of a community. This type of work seeks to assess priorities for health. It involves:

• The collection of information related to health (facts and opinions);

• The collection of information related to health resources present within the community (resources);

• Identification of key issues for the community (priorities);

• The commitment and support of people in order to address issues related to health community (partnership).

Any assessment of community health needs requires an appreciation of the issues related to this field, but goes beyond this assessment focusing on strengths that are report, namely people and resources within these communities (Friedman, 2003). This method allows the members who compose and decision makers to see the present state of things, to identify the main concerns related to this field and thus to deal with past using the strengths and resources present in the community.
