Introduction

The religious services and attendance in churches creates an impact on the personal behavior and character of the people. This act also increases the feelings about the Bible in the heart of the people. The study will include a small analysis on the feelings of the people about Bible and the attendance of the people in their religious activities. A large sample of 704 respondents was collected and they were asked about the above questions. The following analysis will lead to statistical results that whether the above variables have relationship or not. For this purpose, correlation and regression are used to get the required results.

Data Analysis

Correlation Analysis

Statistics shows the correlation between two variables and indicates the strength of the link with a criterion of relationship, called the correlation coefficient. This ratio is always denoted by a Latin letter R, can take values between -1 and +1, and if the value is closer to 1, it indicates a strong connection, and if close to 0, then the weak. If the correlation coefficient is negative, it means the presence of the opposite relation: the higher the value of one variable, the lower the value of another. The power connection is also characterized and the absolute value of the correlation coefficient.

The correlation between the variables “How Often R Attends Religious Services” and “Feelings about the Bible” is found to be negatively correlated. The sample used in the survey consists of 704 respondents which say about the attendance in the religious services and their feelings about the Bible. The degree of correlation between the above variables is -0.4 which shows a negative correlation i.e. when a person attends religious services regularly his feelings about Bible are decreasing and he does not move towards the Bible. This statistical relationship is a little deviating than the original conditions of the factor because if one attends religious activities and then certainly his belief and feelings about the Bible increases. Though we cannot say the above statistical results wrong because the significance level or the p - value is less than 0.05 which is showing that the data and the results are highly significant and acceptable statistically.

Graphical Analysis

The graphical analysis is used here to analyze the above variables visually that in which direction they are moving. The results of the graphical analysis shows that majority of the respondents marked 1 and 2 for their feelings about the bible. Though the respondents also marked them the other options as well but the majority of the respondents were in favor of the 1st and the 2nd option. Similarly we can analyze the results of the religious attendance or services by the respondents. The graphical method looks very interesting in the sense that it gives the complete overview of the variables that if one increases ...
