Corruption is the use of financial instrument to a public official for the fulfillment of some description in return. Bribery is an act of giving gift, whether financial or non financial, to someone to alter the behavior of someone. It is a crime and is defined as the practice of giving, receiving or presenting of any material or service, to convince someone in your favor. In this practice, both parties are using each other for their benefit against someone else's.

Corruption is a very common practice prevailed among the authorities for instant benefits. As times of elections, expected individuals and parties started contributing in the society (www.gsk.com, 2010, Pp. 12-27). The ordinary difficulties of people are also focused they started giving gifts and allocating funds, just to ensure their votes. Simultaneously, the officials expect to get bribes, in order to motivate themselves and to keep going with their ordinary activities. Corruption attracts everyone, and it starts from the paltry level, that is in small business operations. However, if these minor level distortions are not addressed, it might reach the national level.

In addition, the businesses and the government are interlinked with the bottom line firm corruption. The intention of corruption is can be seen when the private sector contributes in the governmental funds. Corruption is a mixture of the economic and the political problem, which affects the whole society and functions of it. Bribery and corruption are highlighted in the domain of the selfishness. These are the personal interest which dominates over the society and the culture preferences. Thus, it creates biased and competition in the society. Every one seeks for self compliance rather than the overall gains and benefits. This culture prevalence creates the distortion in the society, ultimately affecting every function and the practices. Although, a society was never free from the corruption influence, this practice has firms its existence since the 20th century. Although, the corruption is between two members or a group of society, but it affects the overall culture and every function it is related to.
