Abstract
In this research proposal, we will explore the study on the ways to counter proliferation of combating the weapons of mass destruction. The weapons for mass destruction are characterized as one of the biggest challenges of security which are being faced by the United States. Therefore, the country's officials need to incorporate some useful and effective strategies to combat the threats of having the mass destruction by the use of the weapons by the terrorist groups and hostile states against them.

How does Counter proliferation Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction?
Introduction
In this research proposal, we will have a discussion on the way counter proliferation may combat weapons of mass destruction. Combating the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction is becoming complex day by day. The efforts of United Nations for cutting off the terrorist access to biological, chemical, nuclear and radiological factors is still not yielded the probable results.
The proliferation of weapons of mass destruction combined with the diffusion of technology and knowledge increases the risk of the weapons usage by the different countries or by the terrorist groups that may directly or indirectly threaten the government and people of United States. For achieving the goal of an effective fight against proliferation, the government of United States should adopt the approach and multilateral cooperation with the other countries and the federal government of the country. Hence, the issue of proliferation of combating the weapons of mass destruction is one of the most important issues to be resolved in today's world of terrorism.

Purpose Statement
The weapons for mass destruction (such as biological, nuclear and chemical) also known as WMD, which are used by the hostile countries and the terrorist groups characterize one of the biggest challenges of security which are being faced by the United States. It is not necessary that the country's government along with the military support will always be successful and efficient in preventing themselves from the terrorist activities. For this reason, the military and civil agencies need to possess the complete operational capabilities for countering the threat and use of weapons for mass destruction by terrorists groups and the hostile countries against the United States, its military forces and the general population of the country. Therefore, the purpose of this proposal is to provide the guidance and strategic solutions to the country's government for combating weapons for mass destruction.
Significance
The significance of this research proposal will be that it will be helpful for the United States in terms of providing the strategies in preventing from the mass destruction. it will also be helpful in ensuring that the country, its Armed Forces, partners, allies and interests are never threatened or attacked again by weapons for mass destruction.
