Critical incidents are considered the events which are time limited, life threatening, unexpected and sudden, in these incidents the capacity of any individual might not be appropriate, and people are unable to respond adaptively. Repeatedly, most extreme incident may put the individual in such conditions which results in posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic stress and even personal crises. Crises are the major part of human lives and can be occurred in every walk of life. Life without crises cannot be found, every individual has to meet the crises in a different stage of his or her life. Generally, people have been distressing with crises in multiple ways. Crises are not only important, but crucial indeed.

Crises intervention is basically an approach that is principled on the case that crises are highly significant and essential portions for the conditions assisting professionals stumble upon the variety of settings. Without determination of nature of crises, we cannot help people to cope-up with such crises. This paper may not focus the term crises as usually people considered, but a bit technical. Technical means not very different from the usual definition. Crises are the points on which people have to adopt different and unusual approach or mechanism for coping such crises in an effective and different mode. There are the difference in crises and problem; people may consider these two different words with the same meaning (James & Gilliland, 2001, pp. 60-107).

Crises are such situations in which people have to change and alter their living pattern. Different people may have to meet different crises that may not be same for all persons, to overcome on such crises an individual requires a forces which may beyond to control. There are three main conditions in crises such as crises may put people into the difficult situation to coping, stressful situation, and the timing of intervention. We can understand the crises with the help of some examples such as divorce, death of loved one, natural disasters, and thoughts of homicide, suicide thoughts, mental illness, criminal victimization, mental illness, and sexual assault. All different situations of crises need to adopt an appropriate approach to meet overcome such conditions. Crises intervention is the process in which a person requires help with in a very short period of time to overcome the situations such as behavioural, emotional, physical and mental problem or distress. Whereas, crises are the situation in which a person perceives an instant failure of his coping skills and problem solving abilities.
