Today technology has become an integral part of each and every aspect of life. The situation is such that we cannot survive without technology. We won't be even able to perform many of our daily tasks if technology is taken away from us. So for people of present time surviving without technology have become an almost impossible ask.

In the essay Technology breeds self-absorbed kids, the author Houston Chronicle presents the veiws he has on the use of technology by kids. He argues in the essay by presenting the negative aspects of the use of technology by childrens. He says that, childrens today are so much involved in the use of technology like internet, cellphones, facebook etc that they are not interacting with there family much. It is also affecting their health's to go along with the affects that the excessive use of these technologies is having on their studies. The writer is also focusing on the fact that the parents of today are mostly responsible in destroying their childrens and in letting them have a separate life.

Today's Technology altered individuals' life-style and the manner they live. For instance, at present it is possible to surf Internet on Television, catch broadcasts, pause Live Television, and even replay live shows. Internet browsing is a technology revolution. As of that technology, an individual could experience what is going on and on the other side of the Earth, gossip with others about different subjects and even speak utilizing Instant Messaging Services. Watching Television on computers as well is possible today. Due to Internet, it is today possible to suppose that the world is at our fingertips (Green, & Jonathon, p 485).
