Introduction

According to the Edward T. Hall, the idea of extension transference is that the humanity's rate of evolution has and does increase as a consequence of its creations that we evolve as much through our extensions as through our biology. On the other hand, with extensions such as the wheel, cultural values, and warfare being technology based, they are capable of much faster adaptation than genetics.

Being a worker at the research and development department of a global organization, I have been asked by the company's vice president to prepare a research report about the relationship of cultural extensions with innovation and creativity.

Motivated by the growing disparity, variety and frequency of use of the concept of innovation applied to the sphere of culture, we propose the following research, develop a genealogy of the concept and see how it can be applied to the cultural sphere, in order to place the reader against what we think it is a new economic reality of culture. This research seeks to be a tool for reflection on the use of the concept of innovation culture on how it occurred, in what context is developed and in what kind of paradigm economic frames. We wanted to probe how this new reality emerges in the United States, where we have focused our work, always aware that this type of dynamics can be the result of socio-economic trends with a longer range. Globalized world in which we live and a system of nation states abrasive insistence weakened by neo liberalism, permits and facilitates certain policies, ways of thinking, economic trends or changes in mentality, can comfortably move from one territory to another, jumping continents, and adapting to local realities and peculiarities (West, 2006).

During the following work, we can see how the very notion of innovation, whose origin is strictly contemporary economic, has been changing as it has been installed in different discourses, periods, countries or joints. This plasticity of the concept combined with the impact it has had on the Western economic thought, for reasons that happen, innovation has arrived in the area of culture, space to undertake its work umpteenth adaptation and transformation. We have done everything possible to map out this process with a critical and speculating analysis on its possible consequences, understanding that can affect both the field and the economic reality that fed. This investigation is divided into two parts. The first draw a genealogy of innovation, starting from its origin in contemporary work of the Edward Hall, in order to promote innovation as an engine for economic growth in the region.

Consequently, the production of a work of innovation will become daily for a number of companies. In the second part of the research, we will see how this thought is purely economic and start a process of consolidation in the cultural field.
