Introduction

Large scale researches are being conducted at national level for developing treatment mechanism to control prostate cancer and death rate of patient who are at later stages of prostate cancer. Different diagnosis and prevention methods of prostate cancer have been identified in past few years that have contributed significantly towards controlling the problem.

University hospital team has come up with an innovative treatment for patients who are at later stages of prostate cancer. The results which have been presented by the team exceed the current average patient life rate after the diagnosis of cancer. In order to determine whether further grant should be given to research team, following part of the report present an analysis of the research conducted by the team.

Descriptive Statistics Analysis

First of all, major breakthrough by the team is observed in the average mean number of weeks the patient survives which exceed up to 10.75 weeks from 9.6 weeks. This provides a consolidated potential of the research to improvise the results by further conducting researches in the domain. A large gap has been observed in the standard deviation value which moved to 11.02 for the particular treatment method that has been developed. If we ignore the lower end implication of the value, it shows that average life of patients can be increased greatly even greater than 10.75weeks. However, it is necessary to address the factors which resulted in increasing the deviation as one patient survived for 45 weeks after treatment. It is essential to diagnose the factor which created an increase in the central tendency median value.
