Introduction

Diesel motors have major functions in automotive and stationary applications, both large (heavy duty) and small (light duty). Diesel motors are energy effective, but their NOx and particulate emissions present foremost obstacles to motor development. The “Diesel Particulates and NOx Emissions” course (1) is one of an ongoing sequence of expert development techniques established about 20 years before by GordonE.
